Alder is a Toronto-based Art Director with a background in set design and over a decade of experience in film and television. A member of the Directors Guild of Canada since 2015, she has contributed to a diverse range of productions, including Stardust, the David Bowie biopic; the Emmy-nominated series Dodge and Miles; the Leo Award-nominated children's series Scaredy Cats; and Orphan Black: Echoes, working alongside award-winning Production Designer Aidan Leroux.
Most recently, Alder served as Art Director on the acclaimed series Heated Rivalry, earning a Canadian Screen Award for Best Production Design/Art Direction. Her work spans a wide range of genres and visual styles, bringing a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to creating distinctive and compelling environments for the screen.
